Your puppy will be weaned onto a high-quality, balanced puppy kibble. We provide a sample bag in your starter pack to transition them. If you plan to switch brands, we recommend doing so gradually over 7–10 days by mixing the old and new food to prevent stomach upset.

Yes! Every Doodle Do Right puppy comes microchipped. We will provide you with the transfer documentation so you can register your contact details as the primary owner.

You should schedule a routine booster appointment with your veterinarian for 12 weeks of age (4 weeks after their first shot). We also recommend booking a preliminary wellness check with your vet within 72 hours of bringing your puppy home.

Selection takes place around 6 to 7 weeks of age in the order deposits were received. By this age, personalities and coat types are clearly established, allowing us to help guide you toward the puppy that best matches your family’s lifestyle and preferences.

We recommend having the following basics ready:

 A crate sized for their adult weight (with a divider panel)

 Stainless steel food and water bowls

 A soft harness and 6-foot nylon leash

 Chew toys (like Kongs or soft rubber rings for teething)

 Enzyme cleaner for accidental messes

 A cozy dog bed or blankets

Yes! From 3 to 8 weeks, our puppies are introduced to designated potty areas (using pad/grass tray systems) and exposed to crate environments. While they won't be fully trained at 8 weeks, this foundation makes home crate and potty training much faster and smoother for you.

To protect the health of unvaccinated newborns from outside pathogens, in-person visits are reserved for Puppy Pick Day at 6–7 weeks. Before that, we share regular photos, videos, and updates so you can watch the litter grow!
